Meet Jacob

 

My name is Jacob, I live in Fort Worth with my beautiful bride Lizbeth and our dog Gandalf the Grey, and I’m just over here waiting for George R. R. Martin to finally release The Winds of Winter.

I’m also Jillian’s little brother/biggest fan.

She’s the one who gave me my first camera and taught me how to use it. In 2014 I graduated from UNT with a degree in Film which is where I developed an appetite for telling stories with pictures, and in 2015 I trained for a full year of weddings as the JZP second shooter before branching out to take on weddings of my own. Over the past five years I have also continued to second shoot 40+ weddings under Jillian. I’m well acquainted with the JZP methodology, vision and shooting style.

The longer I’ve been a wedding photographer,  the more I love it. Through photography, I get to tell the story of people’s lives. When you hire me on as your wedding photographer, I want you to understand that this isn’t just a job for me – it is a privilege. I love getting the backstage, VIP pass to the best day of my clients’ lives. I love capturing every detail, every moment, every memory. I love this job, and am so excited for this opportunity to work alongside my sister to help you tell your story.
